StatPacks Launches Faster, Smarter EMS Packs
Washington, Utah – September 23, 2003 – StatPacks,
manufacturer of packs and accessories for emergency response
professionals, made its national debut last month at the EMS
Expo in Las Vegas. The 2004 product line features rugged,
comfortable gear and an ultra-efficient organizational system,
designed to make EMS personnel faster in critical situations.
“In this field, it’s so important to always stay
calm and do your job as effectively as you can,” said
Founder/Director of Operations Scott Nelson, who conceived
the ideas behind StatPacks as a paramedic in the mid-nineties.
“It’s hard to stay calm when you can’t find
what you need to assist the patient,” Nelson said. “It’s
hard to be effective when you’re carrying the entire
hospital in a shoulder-sling duffle bag that just gets in
the way.”
The StatPacks system uses transparent pockets and quick-draw
holsters to organize the contents of every pack, making it
easier to find and access gear and supplies.
“You can find your equipment faster if you’ve
got a place for everything, and everything is in its place,”
Nelson said. “Digging through ‘black-hole bags’
looking for that one piece of equipment that the patient needs,
is such a waste of precious time.”
Sometimes, that means taking less. Sometimes, it just means
carrying it all in a well-designed, comfortable backpack that
makes the wearer faster and more agile. StatPacks offers a
full range of gear to meet every need.
